August flowers recap

It was a super hot month, but luckily the flowers were fire, too :-)

It would be easy to say that I planned to have all these firey hues blooming at the same time…

But that was just pure luck!

And clearly, I’ve been enjoying putting our newly renovated farmhouse in the background - sorry not sorry!

Probably the best floral part of August was … our Petals & ‘Pacas event!

This was a flower crown workshop that incorporated our first and beloved farm business, Old Homestead Alpacas.

I’m definitely going to make that an annual event!

I’m probably going to do a family-friendly afternoon workshop, and then an adult-only evening one with some wine!

And of course, being at the farmer’s market was as fun as it was worthwhile.

There’s just something so cool about growing flowers and then sending them out into the world.

I’m not sure if I’m going to make it to the market in September, but we’ll see what the weather brings!
